For those of you that are looking for driving shoes, and like the feel of wrestling shoes, then you should go to the Sports Authority in Raleigh (Highway 70). I bought a pair of Asics 'Bam' Wrestling shoes last night that have been marked down from $45 to $14.99. They have a ton of these, and they're not bad looking either. Here's a picture of them:

You are the man. I've been waiting for that kind of price for a few months now. Excellent!

Richard,
I'm pretty sure they have them in a 13. If not, they'll have others on deep discount in that size. You must clean up at the clearance sales. My 10 1/2 size is very common.

$29 Tom? You got jacked  - AB

There are two versions of the shoe on sale. The pair for $29.00 is a lot lighter than the $14.00 pair. But it was not light enough for me to part with the extra 15 bucks :)

Richard - they had some 13's in another style - look on the "clearance" racks, not on the wall of shoes where the Bam is.

They may very well have 13's in the Bam also, I just didn't ask (being that I wear a 9...)

No 13's in the Bam or the more expensive one.

When I buy shoes, cars and pants, it is not "Do you have that in my size?" but rather "What do you have that will fit me?" :(

Sometimes I buy 2-3 pairs of shoes at the same time if I find what I want. Because the next time I look for them I am out of luck.

My shoes are similar and I think I paid $20 at Sports Authority. They only difference is mine have the faster checkerboard striping instead of the slower all white :)

Have you guys seen the new Tom Hoppe "I'm a big Girl" shoe line.........

According to Mr. Hoppe the Stiletto portion of the heel allows acurate placement of the foot for for heel toe downshifts and also provide great support for fantastic throttle modulation.
