What class would THIS run in then?

I'm too lazy to convert the power numbers to something meaningful to me to make a stab at classing, but the hybrids make me wonder if the SCCA will let them run at all. Out west there were some folks trying electric car road racing in SCCA. Problem was the demand put on them caused the batteries to melt down far too often. And by melt down, I mean that literally. It left a messy goo on the track that hurt the asphalt and was hazardous to clean up.

So now there's no more electric car racing. That said, obviously a hybrid car manufactured en masse is a bit of a different beast, but there are still going to be concerns to address, especially if they get popular enough in stock to start allowing them in Street Prepared, Prepared, and, err, *mod*.

Since the car is not listed in the class listing and is not for sale in the US it is not legal in Stock, Street Mod, Street Prep or Prep classes. It is also not legal in D Mod or E Mod. All that is left is Special which goes in A Mod.
