Using the PAX is a little unfair to the race rubber crowd. Our fastest times occur on runs 3 and 4 when the tires are heated up. That is why I have to favor the ST when my money will be on the line.

As this will be the last THSCC event for the MR2 :( we may have some surprises left in us.

But I learned never bet on yoursef, your college team or your home town team ...heart is heart, money is money

Guess you must be running last year's tires, the SO5s and 710s grip best on first runs. At Topeka the grid looked like the Nascar pits during a caution, tire changes after each run.

Two driver cars will do that :) I have not bought a set of r-comps this year! Well, that is about to change.

Do I see a set of r-comps in the Camaro's future?

Yes, for Laurinburg the car will be making it's FS debut in prep for the 2006 season :) The only bad thing is the possible move of the SS/W6 into FS :(

Street tires suck! The difference is like that of a fine Merlot and MD 20/20. They both get you to the same place, but on is a lot finer

The single drivers were changing to cold tires after every run as well as two driver cars. Mark and Jeff were even changing fronts between the run pairs in the Finale for themselves and Donna.
The only time either of their two minis ran two runs in a row on the same tires was in the wet and cold Thurs GS runs. Had as many as 10 tires in grid, not counting rains.

C'mon buddy :) comparing the National Championship and what people will do there to our little old events is like comparing apples and oranges.

All I am saying is to have a fair head-to-head, the race tires will perform better with some heat in them. I personally watched the V710's work through 4 runs just great. For the 5-8 runs they started to come back tomy old S04's. But those first 4-runs kicked my butt.

I dont know what you guys are thinking putting me in your top 5s. I would have Keith Q there as he cleared me by 1 second EASY at Greenville, and everytime he has been in that STi, he has been BLAZING fast.

I would put him as a Top 5, and move me out to the alternates. I am sporting a 'sketchy' suspension at this point :)

Top 5 Raw:

1. Les Davis
2. Kevin Allen
3. Keith Q.
4. Marcus McRae
5. Chris Landi -- Sporting the new re-tuned STi :D
A - B. Herring

Top 5 PAX:

1. Some Miata/Celica
2. Another Miata/celica
3. Sti
4. ST.
5. STi

(I will fill those in, in a bit).

Thanks for the vote of confidence, but I've yet to drive it in anger. I'll either do reasonably well or will spin and scare course workers. My gut feel has me heading towards the latter. :)

Spin or win... I already threw away guarenteed 6th for 33rd this year :).

Sometimes spinning isn't such a bad thing ;)
