Triad put on a great event. Thanks for all their hard work!!

Now, why don't we have an awning on our bus? That thing was SWEET!

Here here. I LOVED that AWNING. It kept me nice and cool.

Have we talked about an awning for our bus yet?

Those sure looked like great awnings, I gotta admit.

I suppose it would just be over the top to mention they also had a generator.

Yeah, but it was kind of noisy. I'm sure we could do better :P

Did anyone from THSCC get in-car video of the course?

Rob,
Gwen and I have about four or five runs each day on tape, from inside the car and two runs each day from a spectators view.

That was a VERY fun event. It was nice to be able to just show up and drive the event. No responsibilities. No worries about the computer, timing equipment, morons walking across the course. I have to admit that when they were having timing issues on Sat, I was glad to not be in the bus (truck in their case).

For the event, I found that it is hard to see the course when all you can see is your colon. I drove with my head up my butt for most of the weekend. But I didn't finish last!!!!!!!!!!! :woo: That was my goal!

Scott, my vote is for a single, 2-day event for NCAC next year. Hopefully we can pull it off like Triad did this year.

Honda Generators....I hear that they are QUIET!!!:D

As for the awnings.....if Triad has 2 then Tarheel needs 3!!!!!!

Marcus think outside the box....two for the bus, two for the trailer. Maybe one on the back of the trailer. Then we need wireless remote controls to raise and lower them.

Congrats to everyone! I sure wish I could have run that course. 8)

:( Yep, wish we could have been there. It just wasn't meant to be. My car is still in the shop and I have really been in a lot of pain anyway. Chuck had no business in a car either with his back like it was.

Westerfield YOU AND I need to have a talk! What do you mean letting Ezelius take you like that! :x

Anyway...Had my surgery today. My face is pretty swollen on both sides. Wisdom teeth are gone and the jawbone is on the mend. My face had swelled from behind my right eye all the way down my throat by Saturday. Mashed potatoes, pudding and chicken soup have become my friends. Surgeon wants me to stay home for four days...I can't see it...maybe two. I can only sleep a couple hours at a time and then I'm up wandering the halls in search of pills and food. I'm so drugged up I actually had a dream that I was autocrossing with Elvis in the passenger seat...

Donna,
It sounds like your surgeon gave you the good drugs! When Todd had oral surgery last year, he didn't have any dreams about Elvis.

Seriously, take it easy and try to do what the surgeon recommends. I hope you are feeling better soon.

I gave it my best shot....Per is a pretty good driver, he has a slight advantage over me with his car too.... There's always next time.
