Bad News:

My father has been diagnosed with cancer of the bladder and wil be having surgery later this month. I am going back to the UK to help care for him pre- and post-surgery. I will not be able to attend the next two autocrosses. (I am looking for one volunteer for next Sunday's event to help Brian Herring in tech.)

Good News:

I will not be able to attend the next two autocrosses which gives you lazy-arsed D Stock drivers a shot at first place. Good luck. Don't worry I'll be back to wrest that away from the reigning champion in August.

I have a reservation for a non-smoking king room at the hotel on Saturday night if anyone wants to pick it up. PM me.

Also if anyone wants to cheer me up when I'm over there (or gloat that you took my 1st place) I have set up a Skype-In account and you can call me on (919) 648-1363. If I'm online, my computer will ring just like a phone (isn't technology amazing?) if I'm not online you can leave a message and I'll get it as soon as I come online again.

I can do the tech thing if nobody else has volunteered - I'll be a novice abuser on Saturday, but I'm pretty sure I'm free Sunday morning (somebody please remind me if I'm not :lol: ).

My dad had successful bladder cancer surgery many moons ago; if it's any peace of mind, it ranks as being *the* kind of cancer that you want to get if you have any choice in the matter.

IS there any one who could help Marcus on Sunday? I had a change of plans and will not be able to be there at all on Sunday, I will also be canceling my reservation at the hampton so there will be another room on saturday night.
