Event Notes:
THSCC will be headed to the Laurinburg-Maxton airport for Points Autocross #4 of the 2005 season. Event Chairs, Graham Jagger and Rob Lupella along with event GM, Vincent Keene will be your hosts. The event name is called “Split Personality”. This is what happens when you mix a Miata and Corvette driver together to make a course. The course is fast. No it’s slow. It will be open. No it won’t. It will have good flow. No way. Well, we can’t decide. You decide for yourself.
We have cleaned up a large section of unused concrete on the main runway and tried to avoid all patched and abused areas. So you can expect good grip. The course will be using the usual boring P, taxiway, and main runway you all hate. We love it!
Your best run of the weekend will be used for points and awards. So do both days so you can get more seat time and knock out that really good run! If you are in SS or ES class please drive slow. The Event Chairs would appreciate your cooperation.
Remember folks it’s 2 days at Laurinburg. Bring good tires. You’ll need them!
See you in Laurinburg!
