if you get bumped because nobody else is in your class:

1. Do I still get (annual) points for winning my class? Just curious b/c chris brown is really the only other person in the class (in the same car, too) and he didnt show up.

2. Is my time in the PAX results multiplied by my actual PAX or the PAX for the class I am bumped to? it appears as if my pax'd time is raw * AP pax (i run in EP, bumped to AP).

im still somewhere around the middle in the pax times, so its not too terribly important. just curious to see if this was how it is typically done or if there was some kind of error. the good side is that i was bumped to patrice's class so i know how far off i was from FTD

I can respond to #2. If you get bumped, AXWare will assign you the PAX for the class that you were bumped to. That is just the way the software works.

We're still sorting out what our new software can and can't do...

In the past, we've always given the bumped car their original PAX figure, the new software give the car the PAX figure of the bump class (bummer, eh). There hasn't been enough fuss for us to change that yet.

In the past, you were awarded season points as if you were in a class by yourself (the bumped car got all it's points, in your case, 9). However, the new software doesn't appear to do it that way either. At this point, we'll fix that manually, I don't expect that rule to change this year.

I noticed that my time, while pretty terrible, was assigned a DSP PAX instead of STX PAX in the results (making it worse) so I figured that was just club policy; didn't know it was automated.
