Most autocrossers LOVE doing track events. I'm calling out all of you guys who have never tried the track thing. Our CMP event is a little "light" on attendance and we would certainly love to see a few new faces.

Got questions about getting started? Ask away!

If you're interested, see the website for more details and registration forms -- hurry and get those forms in soon.

I wish I sould be there, but I'll be on vacation in FLA that weekend.

Rob, Take your autox car. You'll be surprised at how much easier HPDEs are on your car than autoxing. After doing VIR south in April I was amazed that I had less wear on the tires after 2.5 hours of high speed driving than I do after 5 runs at Laurinburg. One peice of advice if you do go, take extra brake pads. I burned mine just about to the rivets and couldn't dirve my last session because I didn't plan ahead. :banghead:

Go, do the HPDE, and have a BLAST!!!

I feel exactly the same way. I know this would be like crack for me and I am doing all I can to stay away. :banghead:

Eventually doing this is HIGH on my priority list.

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.
