Regarding getting times out to the public....
AXWare apparently supports iCard. For those that are not familiar with iCard it works with a GameBoy and receives times that are broadcast by the scoring software. It is used by Grand Am at all their races and I think the SCCA and maybe NASA uses it also.
If someone wants to
DONATE the time and *money* to get this set up, I'm sure that the club would be grateful.
More thoughts about the event.
1. As a reformed Miata driver, I loved the course. It seemed pretty OPEN to me. Now if I was driving the Mustang, I would be bitching about how tight it was. Great course Jim and Rick.
2. Scoring went ALOT better than I expected. I had nightmares of the whole thing crashing and everybody point at me. Thank God that didn't happen.
3. The scoring team ROCKS. You should all be able to take 2 seconds off your fast time for the great work you do!! Thanks everyone.
4. I really liked having the FM transmitter working. All I had to do was hit the power button on my radio after I crossed the line to get my times.
5. Trying to chase down the wicked fast drivers in STT with 4 year old BFGoodrocks doesn't work. Hopefully Falken will get my Azenis to Mark Cooper soon!!!!!!!!
6. Miatas are WAY fun to drive. They actually turn when you want them to. Unlike the Ford F-150 Mustang I drove last year.
7. Thanks to everyone for not running over my kids!!!!!
I think I rambled on long enough.
