We are in desparate need of a van driver to take the van to L'burg Saturday before lunch. Please email autocross@thscc.com if you can do it. Towing experience required, although Whitney says its not to bad now with the new setup.

C'mon, Ryan, it is a proper BUS, not a van.

And despite the minor stability shortcomings, this bus will not kill you with 3500 lb of unrestrained projectiles if you happen to hit a big wall. And the driver's seat even has a 3-point belt. Welcome to the 90's!

PS - we still need to find some dual wheels for a test fit. I'm 95% sure that this will take care of the wandering feeling that the bus has even without the trailer attached!

I drove it from Mike's to my house last night. Mixture of back roads and highway. It feels like an oversized van to me, not a bus. It's just a little fatter than a van with that fiberglass shell. Trailer was not attached.

The wandering feeling Mike talks about makes it feel like the power steering is over sensitive. Once I got used to easy inputs to steering on the highway I had no trouble with it. All you track junkies should understand smooth inputs and lines

The brake pedal has some travel but it stops and turns just fine. I agree with Mike that with a dual wheel setup on the back it should give it a better stance and more stable feeling. Either that or some of those monster truck wheels with about a foot of tread...

Graham
