so to all that went...was it worth the drive?

Absolutely! :D The area is really nice and the event had some great competition despite the medium turnout (~100 folks.) We finished up by about 2:30 on Sunday. (Even AM National Champ George Bowland brought out the "shark" on Saturday but didn't come back on Sunday for some reason.)

Sure, it would have been nice for the event to be a little closer but still well worth it; great group of folks. :-)

Matt's third run on Saturday was a thing of beauty.

Scott was a Man on Fire yesterday. I had not one thing for him. If I had the best parts of my last 2 runs, I'd still have been .5 behind him.

Edit: BTW, Buckley, WTF happened to you????

Oh, and the free lunch on both days was awesome with the pizza. There was so much left over on Sunday that they were giving away pizza for folks to take home.

Matt was definitely smoking; I'm pretty sure I saw that run. :)

Wish we could have been there. We both started feeling under the weather at Greenville, the bug really got ahold of us and knocked out all the stuffin by mid week. Weren't feeling much better by Thurs nite so we decided to cancel. Would have been fun to see if we had anything for Jon K.
