That's the kind of crap I hate. That happens a lot! hence I do all my arrangements on-line. If I can't get a reservation through Expedia then I don't get one.

Well, in a very formal way, we got things squared away. There ARE rooms available, but the FIRST thing you need to tell them is that you have a corporate code for THSCC. Only AFTER that should you discuss trying to get a room with them.

So, I got my rate switched from a hotel.com rate of 80ish to the $66/day of THSCC's rate.

This would just be a good FYI for anyone trying to get a room and call that particular establishment.

Oh, and on Saturday, the room rates go up to $400/day! EEK!!! :shock:

at the spring event the manager @ the hampton told me i could park my truck&trailer in the front lot, but i moved to the back lot later. it seemed more secure to me than the front lot.

The first thing the clerk said to me was they were full because of the US Open. I said, no the Open is the following weekend, I wanted the weekend before. He then checked and said oh yah they did have a few rooms for Sat. 6/11. :roll:
