I, unfortunately, will not be able to make this autoX unless some fortunate turn of events happens. At this point in time, my wife has a bridal shower along with all the things that need to be done at the new house adds up to me being WAY overbooked for that weekend.

Furthermore, all my peeps bailed on me for that weekend (including wife), so I am just going to sit this one out.

I just wanted to wish all those in STX good luck this weekend, and I am a maybe for Sunday, but it isnt looking good.

Hope everyone has fun, and I can't wait to race against you guys in August!!!

I know this and I thank you for the reply!

I am just out there to have fun, and race against really good guys in my class. I am a rookie, and I shouldnt be worried about things like that until I am a little more seasoned.

When I have a little more time, I will use that as a tool to gauge where I am. Until then, I will let my irradic times per run at each autoX speak for themselves.

Thanks man!

Yeah, neither my wife or I will be driving the WRX at Laurinburg. Need new tires (as in, the tires won't survive the weekend, I reckon) and can't afford them (no job).

So, I'll be there both days, co-driving a friend's '84 GTI, if everything works out.

Damn thats harsh Chris, just leave out the part that you get to drop your 2 worst events, so your still good for season points Brian.

Ah... by some miraculous turn of events, I will be able to make the event.. but Sunday only (only day my other friend could make it with me). I don't see myself being too competitive this weekend as I have a lot of other thingsd on my plate/mind right now to keep me from concentrating on autoX, unfortunately.

I hope everyone has fun this weekend, and all goes well!!

Oh, I just wanted to congratulate Keith Quisteroff on another EXCELLENT showing at the Laurninburg event. That was some great driving, and a great Top 10 finish in PAX!

I didnt get to see many of his or Les' runs, but it has been some great competition in STX so far this season. I have learned a ton, and I am still trying to pick up more and more every race.

Hopefully, I can get a little faster with the current setup I have this season, and next season with an attempt to prepare my car, I will be able to give Keith a run for his money.

Great driving guys! It really gives me something to shoot for, and has forced me to drive a lot better!

Thanks to both of you for being so open and nice to a newbie this year as well. It has been wonderful competing against you guys!
