have a couple of friends that might be coming out to the oct autocross and i need help classing there cars.

The first one is a
94 Trans AM

MOROSO COLD AIR INTAKE

- ACCELL 30# INJECTORS
- PCMFORLESS.COM CUSTOM TUNE COMPUTER
- MSD 8.5MM PLUG WIRES
- SUMMIT 3" EXHAUST CUTOUT
- FLOWMASTER MUFFLER
- HYPERTECH 160 THERMOSTAT
- LT4 KNOCK MODULE
- NITTO 245/50/R16 555R EXTREME DRAG RADIAL
- !TB BY-PASS

Or ESP street tire if the nittos have high enough treadwear. (Tarheel still uses 140, right?)

Not to mention Drag Radials make for crappy auto-x tires. If he has stock rear tires, advise him to run them. Otherwise, silly high pressures in the rear might make them decent.

I think he's ESP legal.

Looks like an ESP car. The Nitto drag radials actually make good autocross tires, but they are not street tire legal. I also suspect if he runs them on the rear only that he will have some major understeer (more than he would normally experience).
