We had a prosolo in Toledo this past weekend.

The Peterson/Barnes MR2 had shock issues all weekend with them finally getting the car halfway ironed out towards the end of sunday. Unfortunately Eric coned his best run and donnie couldn't nail a quick right side time. Chris though, was only 0.6 back from Eric and woodshedded Donnie by a good half second ;)

Donna ended up 1 spot and charles 2 spots out of the trophies in their Celica.

Tim Aro woodshedded in CSP taking the win over steve mieritz by 1.8 seconds.

In STS action, Buckley also coned away a trophy and was reeaaaly close to the top times in the class. The ECU upgrade would have made a huge difference in this event, where the turnaround didn't quite "favor" the 1st gear wheelspin monster celica.

Last but not least in STX action, shawn is never listening to my advice again. Apparently "Just throw the car into that sweeper" didn't quite work on his last run as he picked up 3 out of the 6 wall cones, but did improve by 0.4 over his other fastest runs :P He ended up 1 spot out of the trophys. I took the STX win over Mike King by 0.190 and got lucky in the first two rounds of the super challenge to also take the honda street challenge win :)

Our next big event is the Oscoda Pro in 3 weeks, while the Peterson/Barnes mobile is making the journey back to Toledo for the tour next weekend. Anyone else going to that?

I'll be hitting Oscoda, but will be skipping Toledo Tour. After spending another $500 on a header, springs, and new bumpstops, I'm hoping the bling machine will be much better. I'm on my 8th week of waiting for an ECU

I ordered the springs and bumpstops through Jason Tipple (former National Champion for STS) and he was stating that my Celica will be the car to beat at Nationals once we nail the setup. He couldn't believe that we were with him at the 1st corner and pulling on him afterwards at Toledo. Jason was driving Billy Brooks 2.5 RS and wasn't thrilled with his softly sprung setup (but happy with it's stout motor), as compared to his 2.5 RS, which is setup much stiffer. And Jason beat Corey in the wet at Atlanta, so he certainly can drive ;)

We'll see what happens. Hopefully everything will be here by our July event so I can make the trip back to the Triangle and run with friends :) - AB

Thus is the first year of developing a car. We had the same crap last season. Oh wait, were on the 2nd month of waiting for my brakes

I agree with that. Its going to take quite a bit of testing and seat time to get the car workin. But once you guys do, it will be scaaary fast.

We'll be at the Laurinburg 2-day delio. I have a feeling that I wasn't missed at registrar ;)

We stayed up north for the Toledo tour as reported elsewhere. We will also be headed to the great white north for the Oscoda pro on that Thursday AM, coming home on Monday.
Depending on how Donna does there we may also do the Peru pro for her to try to block.
