It was a fun event, I think that all the Tarheeler that where there had fun, I for sure had.
The site is not a huge one but they manage some good course for the site. I had some great results won the class but mostly I finish 2nd PAX for the 2 days, 1st being Wendel on a Kart.
Rob Keehner did 8 PAX, Carlton Whitehead did 10 PAX, Matt McGrain 14 PAX

The courses were somewhat short but they did well designing the courses for the space. The courses demanded patience since there was a lot of reducing radius turns which were pretty punishing if you didn't have some restraint, which apparently I didn't have lol.

Watching this video makes it seem like I need new tires. My car wasn't gripping like that at all. I guess they are fairly old at this point and likely heat cycled even though they have a good amount of tread left. Probably doesn't help they had about 4K daily driven miles on them when I bought the car lol.

Here's a video from Sunday. I didn't drive as well as I wanted Saturday but did well Sunday. Turn your sound off because my mic doesn't work.

It was a good place to autox with plenty of room for parking. It was great to walk the course and look up to see mist clearing off the mountains.
