2016 Autocross schedule and Event Chair volunteer thread

Please sign up to be an event chair for 2016. Post a reply with the event that you would like to chair. I've heard that the setup can be more fun than an AutoX. If you want to chair an event, but do not feel that you have enough experience, post a request for an experienced cochair.

Update: 19th will be Zach Williams and myself and the Nov School events will be Rob Keehner and myself.

Hey Folks, sign up to be an EVENT CHAIR. If not we may be graced with the spectacle of multiple cat plaques. There are a lot of perks to ECing and event. You can design it to your specifications, you get free entry, you get to hear how much your course was loved by all.

So sign up for a slot before they all go away.

For sites remote from the triangle (i.e. NOT Cary) you can also get a hotel room covered by the club.

talk to the EC's for both events and see what they will need for help. I'm sure there are plenty of opportunities

No, won't be autocrossing but I probably will do a couple track days this year.

I just found out via Rob that there is no T&T this Sat and the event is now on Sat. This true? If so, please fix the first post on this thread please because that's what I've going off of for events. Please synch this up. Glad Rob told me because I'd been up at Danville by myself on Sunday being very pissed off.... :stick:

FWIW, the MSR link has been updated to reflect that change for awhile now, since at least the Feb meeting if not before that. There is no mention of a 2/6 event on the club homepage or FB page, so I think it's a small issue just with this thread.

as funny as it sounds, yes, I take info on the forum to be the official word. But you bring up a good point. What is the official mouthpiece of THSCC nowadays? FB page? Group? MSR?
