Interesting comparison on track using an E46 M3 as the RE-71R comes really close to the NT-01 (within the bounds of error for this mini-test for sure); however, there's no mention of the heat cycles or tread depth of either tire. Nonetheless, it's pretty amazing what a "TW200" tire achieves versus a mild R-comp "TW100" tire. :)

They forgot to mention that the tire wear of these tires makes the A6/A7s look like all seasons. A fast Miata guy out west put them (RE-71R/Rival-S) at 2-3 hours on a Miata.

They need to roll out the exclusion list...but they won't. At least these street tires are cheaper than hoosiers. Hoosier will introduce a tire once the market stabilizes and it's back to where they were 2 years ago.
