According to SCCA is they are allowing the new European ECE rated helmets for autox event. Also, 2000 Snell rated helmets are being allowed for 1 more year. Just throwing this out as an FYI.

I hadn't heard the ECE rating being accepted, I did hear about them allowing 2000s one more year since the 2015s were being delayed.

I just listened to a pod cast where they are going to accept the ECE rated bike helmets. They did follow up w/ a "more to come" statement.

2000 Snell rated helmets are being allowed for 1 more year? That saves me some $$$ this year.
I am doing a front end refresh on my car, so I need every penny.

Been auto-crossing on and OFF for a while now, yet I find myself driving more OFF than ON.

Last I heard that was the case. I'm not sure how it's written with our insurance but i'm guessing just about anything SCCA says is good to go for us also.
