Thanks to the event chairs & Brice for all the work involved for us to crank out 12 runs.
The courses were really fun although I managed two DNFs yesterday from not looking ahead enough after the first three-cone slalom. For some reason I felt it was a good idea to go around the left side of the following gate thinking the slalom was 4 cones. D'oh!

I managed not to DNF at all, but had at least 3 ride alongs in the first session which probably really helped me there. I did the same thing after the 3 lane changes on Saturday though with a gate on my 6th run. Going around the one on saturday actually shaved quite a bit of time off though instead of making it slower haha.
I'd like to thank Rob for co-driving the Camaro, it was a lot of fun having somebody else drive my car so I knew where my skills were, and obviously they were good enough to keep him from beating me in my own car, so i'll call that a win. Unfortunately I think we both agreed the tires got too hot by the last few runs on Sunday and the car would not hook up and the times were starting to reflect that. I rode with Austin which happened to be his fastest run and it was pretty clear the Continental DW's trumped my M/Ts, those things grip probably much closer to a 240TW or something instead of a 340 like they're rated. The M/Ts are rated at 300, just goes to show the TW rating on tires really doesn't mean much between manufacturers. I guess it makes sense though since the DW's are rated right behind the Michelin PSS which is supposed to be a awesome AutoX tire also.
The tires took a good beating with 22 runs putting on them so I should be well on my way to finding some better tires now, lol.
Also, thank you to everybody who worked hard putting this together! I think everything ran very well and both courses were a lot of fun! Sundays first sweeper was a blast to drive around, I loved that.
