so where is the link to get to the first autox up in Danville? If we don't advertise, we ain't gett'n no drivers....

until the new site is up and on line, we HAVE to keep the calendar of events up and running on this site and THSCC.com

edit.... I see that the main page on THSCC.com is just the calendar. I can go w/ that....

Might want to delete the dead links, move the calendar higher, or point the links to the first event so it scrolls down. If you load that page on a tablet the events are not readily viewable with out scrolling down. People that are used to using the website are just going to get an error message when they click on the menu that they are used to, and we don't want them to give up and move on.

I just updated the FB page. Wasn't too hard. any member can do it, just link the msr event page to your fb post.

The MSR schedule is visible on the club front page on my iPad...even in landscape mode. Without scrolling. Sure, not the entire schedule...but enough to say "Oh look! A schedule!"

Not many people are internally motivated to do an autocross in the middle of February. Could be a beautiful day, could be 20degrees and snowing. Lots of last minute registrations likely, pending better weather predictions. Plus, Triad has an event on 2/22, so that is a conflict.

Things will be fine.

Learn to scroll down, bud. The MSREG links to our events through May are right there on our home page.

I made a post over on Camaro5.com, it's a big community and I know there's guys in the NC/VA area on that forum. I think most of the Camaro guys are usually more interested in track, but maybe I can get some to come autocross. It would be nice to have another Camaro driver to compare to! Besides Austin of course, lol.

Looks like only Day 1 attendees list is shown unless/until you register for Day 2. After registering for Day 2 the attendees list for both days appears, at least in my case. Currently 27 pre-registered for Day 2 (points autocross #1).

I couldn't update my own registration on MSR. The car I registered with is now a cube on its way to China.

Forecast: "Ice Pellets"

Damn, that's a new one.

Just thinking out loud, a local bike race I'm doing is scheduled for Saturday and they always schedule a back-up date due to weather if needed. So it got me thinking about the chances they'd let us do a back-up date if needed assuming the forecast is like this on Thursday? Probably a lot easier said than done, especially considering the other clubs that reserve dates too.

The Camaro doesn't do so well in the snow, but long as it can make it there I have no problem driving in the snow, I guess we'll see if anybody can make it up the road.

Out of curiosity what happens in a worst case scenario? Like there's actually snow on the roads and nobody can make it or is willing to?
