That's great news! Now, you know you guys can run in novice for the first year right? I think it's great you're stepping it up right out of the box!

Edit: I see you and Austin are in NOV. Good move.... This will be fun to watch over the year...

Yeah, I left the PAX at Novice and changed the class, I assumed that's how it works since the PAX is sorta like a handicap.

Course will be a barn burner tomorrow. We had a good setup day so dress in layers and bring your helmets.

Is it gonna be ok if I switch cars? I registered the Mazda in FP, but since it has no heat (and I'm a pansy), I think I'll bring the Bullitt and run if FS.

Yes - bring the Bullitt and get your butt kicked by Art.
or
No - tuck in your sundress and drive the racecar!

That was a great event. The course was really fun, even in a car making barely 100 whp.

Did anyone else hit the deer carcass on the way back? I was in traffic and couldn't see it until the last minute so I was forced to drive over it. After I got home I took a look under the car and there were bloody bits on the front subframe and all the chassis braces. It missed the oil pan by maybe half an inch and I think my exhaust gave it a nice sear.

The deer seemed to be seared into a couple of pieces by the time Eric, Keith and I slalomed through it. It wasn't small though.

Fun mix of speed/elements course today and I hated to have to jet out early.

We should do that course again when it's 70 degress, I don't think my tires even hit 70 today.

Thanks to those who put on such a great event!! Absolute ton of fun. I had forgotten how enjoyable the Bullitt is to autocross. You will definitely see it again!

I assume you mean on 86? I saw it in the middle of the road on the way up a little before 7am, by the time my brother and I were back in that area it was off on the side of the road. I had it in the back of my head on the way back but couldn't remember exactly where it was.

On the course that was a blast, especially being my first time!

Unfortunately I got stuck chasing my brothers times, I was just about 1 second behind him the whole time, he's a first timer too. Much progress is yet to be made! I should have gotten involved earlier this year though because now I likely have to wait awhile before getting back in the seat!

Fun event today, thanks everyone!

I had the privilege of riding along in the TVR 2500 during the first session. It's every bit as cool as I'd imagined it would be. If anyone has Jack's contact info (he's the owner), please pass it along. We'd planned to exchange email addresses, and he left the site before I got the chance to sync up with him.

I heard a course worker might be requesting some new undies as well! lol.

Did anybody happen to catch any video of the Gray '49 Chevy 3100 pickup going around? Gary was really hoping somebody would get some video of him going around.
