It's possible I will bring out my track car in STX on Sunday only. It's looking like I will be running a 10k mile 10AE in E Street next year. - AB

Oh cool. One more reason to leave mine in ES instead of STR.

We may do an event in the Factory Five, but the Miata was bought for autocross. The car was in the middle of nowhere West Virginia on a steep mountain. The owner had 4 different limited edition Miatas: '06 LE, '95 Merlot Edition, a '91 BRG and this '99 10AE. They were all under custom body paint matching covers in his "Miata" garage. The most mileage on any of them was 16k and they were pretty much flawless. This 10AE still smelled like factory new and had the original manual, the his and hers watches and all of the original paper work in the factory sealed plastic. It's a stinking time capsule.

Bryan paid mint for it, but it's a great car. He'll daily it and autocross it for a couple of years and then sell it likely. - AB

As usual, better deals than the event "discount" provided by the hotel. Just booked at the nearby Courtyard Marriott for $99. YMMV, etc.

Looking for a better performance than last year!

We use the Sleep Inn next door with the SCCA discount. Last Spring it was $79.05 before taxes. This Fall it is 24000 Choice Rewards points (i.e. "prepaid" )

Shoulda, woulda, coulda! I know you don't have any car expenses right now so that more than justifies the purchase of a plane ticket James. 8)

Get your arse here man. You know how you take a break from auto-x for a while, then jump back in the saddle and do really well because there's no pressure? This could be that weekend.

And the 10AE love affair is done. Aaron will be in a B-Street S2000.

I'd need someone to get me at the airport and who does not have a roommate?

Not much help for you there. Coming into Charlotte early Sat morning for tech and registration. Does Carlton still need a roommate?
