Uploading GoPro Video

About to make the foray into posting race videos on youtube, but am having some upload issues. Do they need to be converted to a different format?

I generally upload the videos straight off the gopro unless I need to trim them (in quicktime pro).

You shouldn't even need to use Quicktime. GoPro shoots in mp4+h.264 so you can use a utility like mp4box to just signify a start/stop and it trims the file with 0% loss.

You should be able to just upload the files straight onto Youtube, it's what I did Sunday night for 1 of my runs.

Thanks for your help guys. Maybe its an apple thing. Originally, I tried to upload from iMovie on my mac, but was getting a sync error. When I tried to upload directly from the GoPro it worked just fine.

MY father would be the one to talk to about that.I am uploading sometimes youtube videos too. it takes a long time, but its worth it.Bill, we may or may not right now, dont know. be getting a mk3 golf for rallycross. I figure, if we get to a hard spot, i can email my freind Adam Ligon. We go back a long way.
