$50 gets you 10 runs?

I would do that but I don't know about everyone else. Maybe this is a chance to try out double money for double runs as was discussed a few months ago?

Probably won't be possible. If it's close to 50 people, it'll be a similar setup to last time (run/work twice).

I'll make my typical suggestion that we do fun runs at the end. When the course is set up, site is paid for, everyone is there, it's an easy $100+ for the club.

It being on Saturday really helps too!

We've decided to do something a little different this event to encourage turn out and also promote the event so it actually happens.

You can pay twice and drive twice (even in two classes), but your second runs don't count and will be considered TIME ONLY. You will also have to work twice, but it will be no "sea of cones" at the circuit-cross.

There is a limited number of people we can allow to do this due to logistics of the event and worker assignment difficulties, but it should add a little extra for those who are interested. If you are interested please email autocross@thscc.com

I'm interested in this, but am also bringing a friend and a first-timer, and don't want to end up abandoning him the whole day by doing double runs and double work.

Won't there have to be more than 2 run groups for this? Otherwise, there is no extra shift to work.

Sounds like we have a early/late gate worker here :). Double work assignments can include clean up of cones/stuff after the event too (ie don't run back to the pits, help clean up and then go do your thing)

You're right, I forgot about gate work. I didn't realize you could volunteer to help clean up afterwards and that counted towards work assignments.

Well it's not a worker position. Over the last few years, fewer and fewer people are sticking around for A) course cleanup/pickup and B) trophies so given it's likely we'll have 2 run groups, I'm trying to be creative with the 2nd work assignments :).

We'll make it work out so no one gets put in a "spot", don't worry.

So, who wants to bring my Kart up for me? I'd like to run that as well. I'm also going to be working a typical non-staff worker assignment as well to help out in alleviating some of the stress of working through worker assignments with people who are running twice.

Worker Coordinators - I will help with this as well.
