I was just checking the event info for registration time and noticed this on the club cup. Looks like it's top 15 instead of 10.

The cup will be determined by overall PAX results. The combined total times amongst the top 15 drivers of each club. The number may lessen depending on attendance from the smallest representing club.

Should I stay in RT(F) or move to GS. I will be running lighter wheels and old worn out star spec Z1s.

If they are not paxing a GS car in RT, and I drive like a alien life form.....I might not contribute?

Please wise friends....help a man out.

I am currently the lowest classed car in RT.

So it depends on Highlands' attendance, currently ~7.

Yeah, I doubt it will change anything unless more Highland drivers show up the day of since the event is closer to their region than it has been in the past few years.

Holy Cow.... went from 42 to 35lb per wheel. That's 28lbs I've just shed off of the car. Looking forward to see how the car drives now w/out the boat anchors...

If anyone is going later tomorrow and wants to caravan, I will be leaving Chapel Hill around 5ish, hopefully in time to register and get inspected.

I asked on the NCAC and CCR FB pages about whether Tire class cars will get the RT modifier on their PAX, but haven't heard back. Affected drivers should consider asking at registration/tech for clarification, be prepared to move back to TIRE if warranted.

Bill, I will be leaving Raleigh tomorrow afternoon shortly after 4:00, so that will put me on 40 in the Chapel Hill area around 5:00. Where do you want to meet?

I'll be taking 54 to 40, so why don't we shoot for exit 148 in Graham about 5:15. Google maps says it's about an hour from the start of Wade avenue to there. As soon as you get to the light at the bottom of the exit, there is a small access road off to the right on the other side of the street called Pravas lane. I'll wait there so as to be easy to spot.

Sounds good Bill. If I am late, just go on without me, rush hour traffic and all.

Bill.... Call me when you get close. I should have your key by then and I can give you the room number.

I'll hang around for a bit if you're running late. We should still have plenty of time to register and, I think, get teched.
