Great job to all the Veeps, ECs and folks that made today go so well! Five runs, plus fun runs on a well-designed course! Thanks! Great chicken as well, so kudos to the cooks!

Now if only it didn't take me eight runs to get a solid competitive time..... :stick:

What a great way to spend a weekend. Course designs were awesome both days. I had no idea that lot was capable of delivering a course with such speed. Many thanks to Rodney and those who helped cooked and serve lunch, no way we could have done without you!

Mary, I hope for the speedy recovery of your throttle foot.

Good news, my wife's ankle is just a really bad sprain. Thanks for those who filled in on event cleanup. Sorry to have to bail. I owe quite a few people some beers.

We will tally up the last reimbursements today and hopefully drop of our donation either tomorrow or Wednesday.

Yeah, both days basically everything was done by 9:30 and the novice walk was done by 9:45. I think we had cars on course by 10:10-10:05 both days.....first I've seen of that ;).

All, we have more t-shirts for sale. Post up if you want any and we can figure a way to get them to you and we also will bring them to the next club meeting in August.

No apologies needed. You two contribute a bunch of extra time. I'm glad your wife is more or less OK and not hurt too badly. I didn't want to see her hobbling around Cherry Point again in an ankle boot ;-)

I could easily do the novice walk at 9:00 instead of 9:15. The problem is that the walk overlaps the final few minutes of registration, so there's some conflict there but not much.

I have some ideas around how we do timing/heat assignments that should let us have the drivers meeting pretty close to the end of registration. We should be able to get to the point where registration ends & the novice walk starts at the same time, then when the novices get back go straight into the drivers meeting. I think, while it makes it hectic in the bus for Carlton, Jonell and myself, starting the drivers meeting before we have run groups & timing sorted out really helps shave a bunch of time off the pre-first car off activities.

Very good event and I"m glad the rain held off. Don't know what the deal was on Sat, but that mazda just wouldn't go. I think the course was just outside the power band, so it's the cars fault for my bad driving. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. The RT class on Sat was brutal w/ all the heavy hitters out there. I must admit that damn M car of Chucks sounded very good. Some how I need to get a drive in that car.

I will say, I did miss Bowie's cooking on Sunday. I did want to thank everyone that helped, especially Jordan for buying all the Sat food and Brice for the Sun food. I think next year we need to fine tune this some, but I think the bar was raised this weekend.

Thanks! One minor correction: Paul Morro's TR250 on Sunday was in FSP (wheel/tires and induction allowances). The Caterham is DMod. I bring it up because he is possibly in contention for the Novice Cup and season points are in play. Thanks again!

Good catch. We'll get it fixed and reuploaded. Thanks!
