If you'll consider the mazda 3, then I'd like to jump in here. If you're looking for more HP, then I guess I'm out....

You are absolutely welcome to do ride alongs in the 3. My comment about rotation was in reference to the line between driving fast and drifting. I mean if you want to swap rides with Brice and see who is faster, that's fine :).

That would be interesting, but I don't think Brice would want to do many fun runs on the Mini w/ those high dollar tires....

If anyone sees smoke coming from my tailpipe at jimmy V could they please let me know? After last weekends auto-x in winston salem I used almost a quart of oil. I'm changing the PCV valve this week, hopefully that sorts it out.

Thought I'd mention that due to the heat, if you're going to jack your car up in the paddock, bring a board to put under the jack to prevent dents in the pavement.

Also, brings lots of appropriate fluid refreshments for yourself. We've had a cool spring and the seasonal temps this weekend might catch some people off-guard. Remember that in the summer, Fayetteville always seems to be 5 degrees hotter that the Triangle.

Finally, I missed the hotel offer at the Holiday Inn, but found an equivalent price (AAA price) at the Hampton Inn next door. I think the Farifield directly across Skibo road was even cheaper.

Both days are normal events and this site isn't locked down, like say Danville. Get there as early as you like but VPs probably won't get on site till 7:30 (depending on the delicious malt beverages that were consumed the night before).

Gate worker times are as usual: 7:30-9:30.

If you get there before 7:30, when gate opens, come up to the gate and sign the waiver and get your wristband.

Can someone please clearly state the schedule for tomorrow's (Sunday's) event? As mentioned above, the schedule on THSCC.com shows conflicting info, then James posted it's a "normal event" - so, safe to assume everyone needs to be there before 9:30 am?

Sorry for the confusion. The schedule is like a normal event. Registration will be 8:30-9:30am and first car off shortly after 10:00. See you there!
