Points Event #5, June 1 at NCCAR!

Everyone realized that the dry grip at NCCAR is badass, so we're going to be holding points event #5 at NCCAR June 1. Update your calendars now. From what we know, this doesn't conflict with any major pottery festivals, wine tastings, or bridal shows, but please do post your feedback here, we always love to hear it.

Man, you're really mess'n w/ my feng shui. What the hell happened to the 3rd weekend of the month? Are we still a go for the 23rd of June as well?

To be fair, I can't make this date either, but we picked the date that worked the best with our sites, rallycross schedule, track schedule, and our fellow NC Autocross clubs schedules.

In all seriousness, the schedule has been quite a nightmare this year. In 2011, at our January meeting we threw out 8 dates and 8 locations and all dates and only one site shuffle occurred. With Sanford permanently out, Laurinburg feasibly out, and Danville temporarily out, the scenario is quite different. Couple this with Fayetteville being very difficult to get events with and the fact that the typical 3rd weekend of the month date availability has encountered other local club conflicts, it has been a very difficult year to get the schedule figured out. Brice is busting his ass and working with some difficult people and still constantly looking for new sites.

I'm there....stoked to have an all-day event at NCCAR with more than four runs!

Edit: the code above is pretty funny...It has been a tough year to get a cohesive schedule, but it's all good. Thanks for making it work!

Good call to lock in NCCAR for event #5. Given the way things are going scheduling wise so far, there's no telling what other disruptions might occur later in the year. Like you, I can't make it. I've already got reservations made for that weekend to participate in an exclusive comparison test of E-Z-GO, Club Car and Yamaha spec carts.

(Now would the moderator please wash James' mouth out with soap?)

Event chairs still needed! You can make your own original magnet to mock a former THSCC president or #1 drunk poster!

We will get the registrations updated, but regardless season pass holders need not worry.

All, it's going to be hot and dry this weekend (yes, odd for NCCAR). Bring water and sunscreen.
