Once again, I think I would have to make a better effort to help those individuals when I make these comments :).

Just wondering if this is a legacy thing that has existed from last year that isnt happening this year, or if this is something that is low on the priority list to get done.

Once again, I voluenteer my meek and data entry (not programming -- less it be very minimal programming) skills to help any efforts if this is something that would take the load off.

Oh, and this time, I will make time :) Buying a house has a way of taking up all your time :).

I'll be doing the season standings this year, and the format will be unchanged from last year.

Traditionally, we don't even start them until later in the season, however, if there is demand, I'll start sooner. That said, with only 2 events, it's pretty easy to figure things out.

1st = 9 points
2nd = 6
3rd = 4
4th = 3
5th = 2
6th and down = 1

I can tell you who isn't winning Pro, and who is winning DS, but that is about it.

Brian,
I think your safely currently in 1st in STX this year so far, call me a math genius. :P I hope to challenge that position at some point, but its not looking very likely. I'm also predicting Keith might shake things up a bit in upcoming events once he gets some decent tires and suspension on that car, so don't get too comfortable at the top... :wink:

Cool cool. I would like things to be shaken up. It makes me try harder and gives me a goal. I am staying like i am for the remainder of the season anyway. I know you are fast enough to beat me as you proved that quite easily on your fun runs.

I was just wondering when/if that page was going to be updated, and what the tradition was behind that. People have asked me, so I thought I would look like the idiot and post that.

I know I am not the fastest. I am just hoping to learn more every autoX. Nice 49.4 man! You were hauling!

IIRC, they are *usually* done around mid-season and then again at the end of the year. Knowing Scott though, since you asked, he's getting stuff put together. However, don't quote me on that. :)

Last I knew they were in the hands of our webmasters waiting to be posted.

I have an excel file on my desktop with them...

Standings are posted on the website. Please inform me of any mistakes.

http://www.thscc.com/autocross/events/standings.html

Mistakes so far: Kenneth = Randy Melton, that should read 25 total points and 21 points (best of 3) in ESP, it moves him up a few spots.

Also take note that I post the results under the name of the person registered. Register under 4 different names and get results under 4 different names. Make it a habit and you are volunteering to do the results next year (or you just might get the wrong trophy at the end of the year - or none at all).

Use the car info field on the internet if you have the urge to be creative.

Just a note on the bookwork: We drop 2 events per year, so we have two columns, one is your total (all 4 events), one is your total minus your worst event ("best of 3" for Art). That means 36 and 27 are the best you can do.

If I could actually make it to any events in the right class I might try for a few points. However I will most likely have to pass on Laurinburg and then the SE divisional as well, so I don't see myself making any autoxs in the next month or more despite the fact that they are happening everywhere. :(

Plus my car is all out of whack on top of that and it pisses me off every time I drive it. I need to devote some TLC to my other vehicles so at least I'd have a reliable daily driver. :roll:

Hmmm... so if you aren't autoxing in the next couple of months, how about selling me those wheels?

:P

You have 4 jack stands I can borrow in the meantime? I have no other wheels for the car. Despite that, I'm also not a big fan of the whole "car up on blocks in the yard" look.
