SCCA Event in Eastern NC

Would the person who posted the information about the 9/21 event in Eastern NC, please post it out here.

Any good places to party Saturday night in Beufort (sp)?

The site is a bit on the small side, so you might be a little dissapointed. We do at least have a new timer (AXWare, and it rocks), I see that quite a few THSCC members are gonna be there. Hope to see you guys there!

As for something to do in Beaufort, HA! forget that. Jim, thats where old people go to die. They rollup the sidewalks and close the town at 8pm. If your looking for night life, Atlantic Beach is the place. There are plenty of places to get in trouble over there. Ziggy's usually has a band on Sat nights.

Probably the best place to hang out in New Bern at night is either the Sheraton or the Ramada, both on the waterfront on the Trent River. Sheraton is on the downtown side, Ramada is on the opposite side of the river. I like the Ramada best. More laid-back. Lots of boating-types hanging around.

Atlantic Beach is a fair drive from New Bern, about 40 miles, I think. Greenville is about the same. Stay in New Bern. A lot less hassle, and you can walk back, rather than risk driving 40 miles with a buzz on...
