Maybe I'll run your tires in the rear and Milko's in the front :).

If they are Mazda rims, more specifically Miata wheels, they won't fit a Honda. Center bore is too small.

Mine are non-specific, the hub bore is like 60mm.

whats danville like, is this the old airport out on the hill? I think I may have been there before.. has that long driveway, then the open area like a airfield.
i will be in the subaru again, with the r compound tires on. Hopefully we will have a straightaway, that my turbo can spool up. I was off boost the whole time at the last autocross, in that parking lot in fayetville, so hopefully more open. I dont know about my father yet.

Rain is not so bad for me, hardtop and awd. Now, some may argue that standing in the rain is not fun.. Which it is not, however, my last several jobs required work in rain conditions, so I own some rain gear. Layer up and wear some rain gear, shouldnt be that bad, unless it snows or something.

I believe I heard Brice say in last night's meeting that we need to reach our break-even for attendance by this Saturday for the event to go on. Time to get off the fence!

28 preregistered as of right now. Can we call this close enough to say the event is on? I'm willing to chip some more money if that's what it takes to make it happen. I NEED to get the Subaru on course.

I just mad it 29 registered (assuming all have pre-paid) at that rate if we each kick in an extra dollar we will meet the cash requirement of 30 drivers.

I make 32 AND I paid. If that many show up, we could easily limit the event to 5 "officialy unofficial" non-points runs and still have time for fun runs for a little extra $$$ before the sun gets too low. At the evo school yesterday, driving into the sun on the Westerly oriented runway made it very difficult to see the course between 4:00 and 5:00 or so.

Any interest in reverting to Daylight Savings Time for this event (i.e.: starting earlier) to avoid the early setting of the sun? I could probably drag my butt out of bed a little earlier. On the other hand if we have fewer than 50 entrants we should be able to get in lots of runs and still not drive home in the dark.

I have ALWAYS been an advocate of starting at 9am :). Even before being a VP, I was always on site at 7:30 :).

Others?

Ugh. I'm not a morning person. I'm especially not a get up early on a weekend morning and drive 75 minutes and then change tires at 7:30 AM when it's 35 degrees person.

Shawn, do you need a co-driver?

Art,

Do you have all season daily driver tires? If so, they might be better in the cold than the stickies. I ran the EVO school yesterday in my Mustang on the oem 18 inch Pirelli 400 TW all seasons and per my DL1 had cornering peaks over 1.0 g, braking around 0.8 g, and acceleration from launch (in second gear of the automatic) of 0.5 g's. I was pleasantly surprised. I don't think it would have been much higher in the CM car on "frozen" slicks which when warm/hot allow 1.5 g cornering and 1.0 plus braking.
