Since we're running at NCCAR this weekend on Sunday, we have to play by their rules in regard to quiet hour on Sunday. We've discussed and we'll kick off the event at noon, so you'll have some sleep in time. Adjusted hours are as follows....

Gate 8:30-10:30
Registration 9:30-10:30 (or as adjusted by the registrar)
Novice walk 11:00
Drivers meeting 11:30
First car off at noon

See you there!

PLEASE sign up!! We only have 38 drivers so far. This event isn't going to pay for itself unless we get another 30 drivers.

on another note, the gate code for the event is 654357#

I know nobody remembers it, but NCCAR in the dry offers INCREDIBLE grip. Way more than LJVM (just throwing that out as a random reference point). . .

Shouldn't be. ALMS is done on Saturday. That's why we moved the event to Sunday.

Census always seems a little low at NCCAR, but that may have been weather-related in the past. Hopefully the attendance will pick up! Simply my opinion, but until they expand the VDA I wouldn't be against having only one event at NCCAR and an extra one at Crown or D'ville.

Trying to encourage a couple different people to go this weekend went something like this:
Me: "Hey, there's an autocross on the 16th!"
Them: "Where?"
Me: "NCCAR."
Them: "Oh... Nah, not worth going all that way for that track."

:(

I'm not agreeing with them, just sharing the experience I've had more than once trying to get people to go. I will definitely be there. And yes, I'll be at ALMS the day before, so that's no excuse either! Should be a great weekend!

To be completely honest if my car worked I likely wouldn't have been going to this one.

I think the fact that the we're only 1 for 3 there with the weather hurts things a bit, but the first event there was great and the grip of that place just seemed unreal, in a good way of course.

The late start sounds good to me though!
