Ahhh, the Contour SVT. And another guy took home first place wood in Novice class at this event. It's gotta be the car. :P

You're probably right Tom. $32K is about three 91 Corvettes. I've also heard that some people replace the trannys in the Subys with every oil change. !! :shock:

Maybe I should at least wait until the STI's are below 10K book value. :)

Not that it matters, but the dealers *will* deal on STi's currently. I got mine for $2k under MSRP and you might be able to do better than that (I didn't think you could, and they just took my offer, so I was stuck wondering if I could have done better).

Also, that transmission thing doesn't seem to apply to STi's. The STi has a Porsche designed six speed not found in any other scoobies that I know of.

Miles, when I get mine prepped you can definitely drive it at an event.
