Good event, good venue. Fayetteville wasn't that bad.

I'm kind of glad I stayed in Tire class this year, it was only $475 for a set of Star Specs for the season plus a few track events. That said, I do have 1 tire in like-new condition for sale..

Great job all! I definitely got served yet another piece of entirely unnecessary humble pie at the hands of my co-driver (not to mention the usual beat-down STR has to offer) but I maintain that I am better for it.

The lot was challenging with its dual-grip, Jekyl and Hyde persona. The sealed asphalt side made the rear end loose, while the aggregate stuff made the car pushy....leaving me with a  then a :? then a  and without a good read on setup adjustment changes. Better luck next time, though...

Glad to see 21 novices turn out, lots of them local. I am lookng forward to driving there again!

Very funny as promised!

Great event! Thanks to those that made it happen. It took me three runs to stop driving the Bullitt like a FWD car. Lots of fun!

I had an awesome time out there too and the course was definitely a patience course with some very cool elements that required the old 2-1 shift in a couple spots to squeeze out a few more tenths to make it count.

It was really cool to see several THSCC regulars driving cars that weren't the regular go-to's. Good job to the event coordinators for making a fun, challenging and safe course in a new lot with a few lightpoles to work around. I'm torn on which lot I like more there, but it's a fun technical site for sure. Good call on the overlap as 60 seconds courses rock regardless of the speed.

Well run event on an "interesting" site. A little slow in several corners for my taste but I fully understand the reasons/goals and enjoyed the course and the run length. I had fun and got some good information for the future.

Don't know how I managed to miss cones on all six runs (including one rerun)

My fastest run.

Something tells me I missed this one to my own benefit.

First gear? I ain't that smart or that patient. I'd rather run balls to wall than drag my nutz in the gravel. But hey...........

I had a great time yesterday and yes it was an interesting course. This is the best example of "slow in, fast out" I've seen in a while. You really had to drive w/ your head on this course.

Great job by everyone to make this final event of the year a huge success. 50-60 second runs, 5 timed runs and perfect weather. Great ending to a great season! On top of all that, I think I finally figured out how to drive that stupid mustang and trust it. That was incentive to keep driving it again next year.

Keep driving it!!!! If nothing else changing those big heavy wheels/tires is good exercise.

I have no idea how you got a Mustang through the course so quickly on street tires. Very impressive car and throttle control!!! I need to relearn trusting my CM car. Maybe if I drove it every day rather than one of our Mustangs.

I wonder if street tires were exceptionally well suited to the course surfaces?

I looked at my data last night. I "could" have run most of the course in first gear but since I was traction limited in second gear most of the time it probably would have been "all sound and fury signifying nothing".

I have no idea how the S2000 drivers who shifted were able to make it work.

Wow what can I say. The course was great I loved the lay out. The traction(or lack there of for my worn out slicks) was HORRIBLE! Congrats to you street tire guys. I can not remember the last time I spun out at an autox, and this weekend it was twice!

Anyway even with the few issues it was STILL better than being at home!!! Thanks for the event guys.
