215/40/17, only .1" narrower than the 225/50/16 (.1" shorter too). The 225/45/17 would probably rub like no tomorrow and is 1.2" taller than the 215/40. The SVT needs every bit of gearing it can get.

Yeah, that's not going to happen. The front shocks are from an A2 VW, the rear shocks are from an E30 BMW. I have what they call around here "some cypherin'" to do.

Shock choices for Foci are crummy at best in the US.

Uggghhh, that's a long story (and expensive) that may get even longer (and even more expensive) :stick:

The car currently has OEM control arm under it, for now.
