The club elected you guys so we don't have to make all these difficult decisions. And I think staying with 140 is fine, not that it matters.
Not sure why the SCCA is making this change? I remember when they first started having Street tire based classes they had a rule that allowed them to ban any tire they thought didn't meet the intent of the street tire rule. They could do the same with this Road tire class. But I haven't been an SCCA member for a while since all their rules make my head hurt.
