I am bummed have a conflict this weekend--why do all the fun things have to happen at the same time? Chose to go with a match-play golf tournament over ZMax and Danville. Have fun!

I'm going to the NASA autox at VMP.

FYI: Al Seim of Race Technology USA is registered at Danville so his son can run a Jr. Kart.

VMP has gotten extremely bumpy :( :( :( My car seemed to have as much air time as a kart would have at other sites.

FYI the advertised "big" "fast" autocross was big at about 2/3 mile but "fast" it was not. However the NASA crew did a pretty decent job of hosting/running the event in the HEAT. :)

Looking forward to whatever the Fayetteville course designers come up in the context of whatever site constraints they must address. :)

I don't think bumps are going to be a huge concern there Dick, at least not at this front lot. It's relatively smooth. Then again, I don't have a great feel as to what size bump it takes to upset a mod car. The only concerns for course designers is the light poles which obviously need to be designed around (there aren't a ton though) and there is one drainage grate, but its far enough out that it is well out of play.

Here is my fastest run from yesterday. I was having issues with looking ahead for some reason so my line choices are not as good as I would like for them to be.

The bumps at Danville were pretty bad in my S2000 - I think I need new shocks if I'm gonna continue to autox this thing. And more rear grip. And drive it really, REALLY boring. So I'm either going to just go slide it around from now on and continue to be slow, or take something I can throw around a little harder and still go fast.

Did you hear me laughing at the start? I was laughing at Ram's pain. He should have had the STR win if he hadn't hit any cones. You guys better watch out next weekend.

Marcus, thanks for not killing me when you spun. You can see me deciding if I should run or not, in the video.
We had just talked about someone spinning there very soon.

Fun course. I only had one clean run which was slow, but that was certainly me, what I was working on, and clearly dead Hoo Hoos, not the course.
