I'm trying to get a head count for a reservation.

I'm in and I'll have my truck with me so I can take 3-4 other people to VIR with me.

Looks like they have a group scheduled from 2pm-3pm already, so they may not want to book so close together.

Are people riding up with their ladies and then going straight to VIR? In that case, an earlier time might work better (~11am or noon). Or we could shoot for later in the afternoon, say 3pm or after.

James has been busy with work so I've got a call in to the kart track, waiting on their response. Let me know if you can go and what time you prefer so I can make an appropriate reservation.

I prefer earlier to later, but I'll already be up there.

So, I've never been karting before, do they have karts for wookies like myself?

11AM is fine by me. (So is Noon, or 3PM for that matter).

I may be out. Laura isn't sure if she is going to be able to make Chick school and I'm not sure if I want to drive to VA twice in one weekend.

Okay, we're booked for 11am. If we can get 10+ people, we qualify for their group rate of $500 for the whole track ($50/person), otherwise it will be $60/person for one hour.

Also, they said they are on summer clothing now, so shorts and T-shirts are okay. Closed toed shoes, full-face helmet (they have some) required.

So what is everyone doing prior to karting at 11? I am getting to Danville by about 7:30 to get Alyssa all set and then need to fill 3 hours in Danville which is not the easiest thing to do.

Hang out at VIR? Looks like Porsche club will be on track.

So I won't be able to make it. After 3 straight 70+ hour weeks, I'm sleeping in tomorrow and going to brunch with my wife before heading to Danville for the afternoon (will probably go to VIR, so let me know where you guys are hanging out after karting)

I'll be there bright and early as well. I'm down to hang out at VIR if that's the general consensus. Not sure what other activities Danville has to offer...

Where are people staying Saturday night? I don't really fancy driving up to VA 2x in one weekend.

Sounds like a plan. Do we know how many people are currently in to run the karts? I am in and I got Tim Walsh to come up as well since Stef is instructing.
