OK, so maybe when you get home, make sure the "Maintain aspect ratio" box is checked. Otherwise, just process what you have, show it to us and we can figure it out from there.

Thanks, will do. (hope to have time)
There's going to be data and video from yesterday waiting for me too. I can hardly wait to go over that.

So I had a boatload of fun yesterday as well. Jeremy's car is coming along nicely and I just need to catch up :). Coming from Ram's miata where the throttle pedal is a binary switch (should mostly be ON), the S2000 is a different beast entirely. I have to say that the S2000 goes into 1st so amazingly well that turn arounds aren't even a problem (granted I still don't like them ;) ).

Jeremy and I were really bad about recording yesterday so I think we only have 3-4 videos out of 10 runs. I think I have my 43.9(1) recorded so maybe I'll be able to see which cone I hit because I sure felt like it was clean. Regardless, I told Jeremy after that run that the car had 43.0xx in it and sure as hell enough, Zach puts down a 42.9 ;).

I'm going to have to get used to the lack of communication with the RS3s. Star specs talk to you all day long, but the RS3s are just so damn quiet.

Great job on the course Liz/Rob.

This really was an excellent event even if it was cloudy almost all day, the rain stayed away and I'm not sunburned today. I didn't break the car and it made it up there and back with no issues, so that kicks ass, losing to yet another Honda, not so kick ass, but major props to Zach for absolutely driving the wheels off that machine and Noah for not being too far behind.

I really have created quite the monster out of this crusty old C4, its the first car I've ever had where I feel no need to downshift to first for pivot cones, it makes gobs of torque everywhere in the powerband, its gonna be a fun year trying to figure out how to drive it to its full potential. Driving a car like this really does make autocross a completely different sport, I highly recommend it. I never did attack that big slalom as aggressively as I could have, not sure why I was mislead by it, but I'm pretty sure that is where I lost most of my time. The finish was awesome, one of the best ever, taking the squiggle turn flat footed in my car was exciting to say the least and just hitting the rev limiter (73 mph) crossing the timing lights was perfect for me. Oh, and I'd like to also encourage ride alongs, I really seem to do better with a passenger and I promise it won't be a boring event. :D

Looks like our officers and staff for 2012 are gonna do a great job and thanks again to all who had a part in putting this event together. I too enjoyed Carlton's results app that really seriously kicks ass and thanks for making it man.

Well, I had a great day.
I didn't make a total fool out of myself. :?

I'm sure I'll have fun this year trying to improve my driving skills. It was quite different than the MINI.
No clutch, no transmission. Real easy to left foot brake.
I wished I could see the car from the outside. It felt great in the slalom, but touchy in the hard braking area. I think the regenerative braking is coming into play.

And to Andrew, thanks for egging me on. That really made me push myself on the last run. I learned my lesson about doing that a few years ago... don't! I got bumped out of 1st place against Marcus.

Rodney and the other mustangs...I gunning for you!
HS PAX!

And to all the comparison jokes got beat by a Leaf...
I'll take that as a compliment.

It was a good time and all in good fun. I'm looking at hooking up my GoPro under the car pointed towards the rear to see some tripod action at the next autocross since that seems to be my new method of going around a course.

I have to admit Les, you always seem SO intense when in line to the start that I have never asked for a ride along so far for fear that you'd bark at me ;).

Me want ride, I have to figure out how to drive that car. I finally figured out to drive the slalom harder but then couldn't remember how much faster I was in the turnaround. (And also that holding the right pedal down and trying to steer it through the element doesn't work as well as that technique in a Miata)

Is there enough memory in the GoPRo to record a whole run in your car?

I just bought a few 16G SD cards on Amazon for $9 each....maybe Andrew should get 4 or 5 of those (depending on how many runs we get ;)).

Oh don't worry. Tribute might not be the right word

Your right, you never hit that many cones at one time - They don't have cones on road courses - Oh wait you didn't drive your car on those either. I've actually never seen you drive the Vette, I think the only proof it ever got going was when someone else drove it for you.....

bite me. you are short and your mother dresses you funny.

i ran the entire 2006 season in ASP and finished second to Plank. granted most of the time it was just him and me, but that doesn't change the fact that you are short. i always thought short guys made better race car drivers. oh, no sorry. you're right, Kendt is a better Jockey than you Rob. by the way, my lawn art statue is starting to decay. may i use your likeness for the replacement?

where is my Dash-Plaque smartass?
