(I thought this might be helpful for my replacement)

A month before the school....

1. Have a meeting where you mainly drink beer and agree that the novice school will be like last year.

2. Ask people to be instructors.

3. Make a complicated spreadsheet listing all students and their cars.

As you get closer to the day of the school....

4. Start obsessing over the entry list, adding students and their cars to the spreadsheet daily.

5. Assign instructors to students on the spreadsheet.

6. Revise the student-instructor assignments according to instructor requests and unimportant arbitrary information.

On the day before the school....

7. Cut down the vegetables (if in L'burg).

8. Throw some cones out of the bus and arrange for some nasty pizza to be delivered the next day.

9. Listen to the endless opinions and disagreements of the people who came out to "help", and let them take over sections so they'll stop complaining.

On the morning of the school....

10. Try to figure out if the hung over instructors will be there in time.

11. Frantically attempt to rearrange the spreadsheet to accomodate the inevitable.

12. Split the students into two groups and four heats, then devise and attempt to explain a complicated schedule and procedures.

13. When someone asks what's going on, say that you have no idea because you can't understand the complex mind of Rob.

14. Listen to Rodney and Mike complain that they won't fit into the cars they have been assigned.

14. Finally realize that the system won't work, and tell the instructors to just pick a car when the students line up in grid.

15. Make a note to do it exactly the same way next year.

Nothing to figure out, just cross fingers and hope for the best. Not that I enjoy these varieties, but with Mad Ballr & Crunk Juce (no "i" mind you) at every BP or Exxon, let's not set the bar too high. Olde English 800 is waaaay better with no hangover.

I'm really glad it's Danville and not L-burg after seeing the concrete again honesty. It's just easier to get around when you're not looking for the craters.

Maria,
All this time I thought that you picked the smallest cars for Rodney and me just to watch us contort ourselves and bitch. That's always good for a laugh. :x

She at least ordered the nasty pizza in point #8.

This is too funny, but so close to the truth....I think Maria is ready to run all our schools.

FYI, we will be going healthy this year for the school and getting Subway. That way, if your lunch is cold by the time you get to it, its exactly the same as it was when it first got there.
