I volunteer to instruct Finney. I'm sure that he'll want to know all of the secrets to driving an NC Miata. It's not like just anybody can drive one well. Plus, I want to see what an NC will do with more than minimal HP. I've been looking at putting an LS into an NC, there's not much out there on it.

What would you call this car; Asian American, MX-Vette, Corviata, Miavetta, MX-LS1, etc?

Widowmaker.

350+ HP and a short wheelbase, sounds like a combo for lots of "yeeha" as you put it.

We will need probably 20 instructors for the Novice school. Now that we have a location chosen, I figured I'd start the list. First come first serve here. Rob and Liz I'm assuming will help instruct in a pinch, but considering they have to orchestrate this madness, I figured I wouldn't overburden them, but rather use them as fill in as necessary (unless of course they WANT to jump in a car here and there and help).

Who's interested?

I'll keep the running list in this post:

Mary Johnson
Kevin Allen
Zach H
John B
Carlton W
Rodney W
Andrew J
Matt M
Michael M
Maria W
Ram V
Jeremy G
Mark M.
Lee W
Noah F
Bernie B

Added Mark and Lee - Brice can you update with anyone else so we have a good count up front. With 14 instructors (well 13 1/2 with rodney :D ) we should be OK until we hit 23. We can probably use a couple more in case we get walk ups and instructor bails

We have 30 students !!!!!! 16 Instructors I need a couple more instructors so we are all fresh and we can have some float and help courseworkers. The cone they call correctly could be yours!!!

I want to thank all of you for instructing. Please don't arrive any later than 8:45. If you have to do anything to your car/pit site earlier. I will need some volunteers to tech the cars. Can someone reply and volunteer - actually a couple of someones.

We have 40 Students registered which is max'd out. If they all show up (hopefully) and if no one shows up without registering we have just barely enough instructors including Brice, Liz, and I. IF ANYONE ELSE CAN INSTRUCT it would be greatly appreciated. I would really like to have some extra so they could work with the folks who are learning how to chase cones. Remember, we are trying to make sure they are actually calling stuff right.

We are running on a tight timeframe between heats so we will be making everyone hustle between sessions. Please keep your students moving.

Thank you Thank you Thank you.
