At each autocross event your vehicle must have a technical inspection by one of the THSCC Tech Inspectors. THSCC uses a "roving tech". You should:
    * Remove ALL unattached items from your vehicle (including items in your trunk).
    * Raise your car hood to indicate that your car needs to be teched.
    * If you will not be near your vehicle, raise your trunk lid and be sure to leave your car unlocked.
    * If you are changing tires, you should do this prior to tech so that the Tech Inspector can check that the wheels are securely fastened.
    * When your vehicle has been teched we will lower your hood so that we can quickly determine who is still waiting to be teched.
A Tech Inspector will check your vehicle for minimum safety requirements (e.g. battery secure, brake pedal has resistance, etc.) and mark your windshield with some form of "tech sticker". If you have an Annual Tech sticker the process will be much quicker.

Note: I am looking for a couple of Tech Deputy Inspectors to assist in teching at each event. If you accept this assignment it will be your work assignment for that event and you will not have to work other duties. Send me an email if you would like to help. One of those deputies must be available to stand in as Chief of Tech for the June 13 Rockingham autocross which I am unable to attend.
