Actually, unless they moved the date Blytheville is 6-8th on the Scca site. I was thinking 23rd-24th for the Chick School and Pts #4.

T-minus 45 days to test-n-tune...

Did we misread this? Moving something *back* generally means to an earlier time doesn't it? If you meant "push forward" to the 23-24th weekend, then we're good.....great, even.

is there an ETA on completion of the NCCAR site enlargement?

Steve,

We just did a private rental day on the NCCAR track last Thursday, and although that whole area behind the VDA is rough cleared to expand it, it doesn't appear much progress toward paving will be made in the near term. Simon was saying they've been asking rallycross people if they'd like to rent out the cleared area (however, from looking at it briefly while using it as a nature calls location, I think they will have to do more plowing/clearing as there are lots of large roots and such poking up everywhere), and he was non-committal on when it would be paved.

They're just waiting for more funding. He said hopefully sometime in 2012. Meanwhile, we'll be doing some rallyxes there.

OK, anybody have a valid complaint as to why we can't move points #8 to October 14th instead of October 21st?

There's a THSCC HPDE and NASA-MA HPDE the weekend of October 14th.

If usually is the last 2 years, then yes.

The NCAC shouldn't interfere, as we try to stay away from the beginning of the month for events, unless it's something special like Burlington. ::fingers crossed::
