Why do you want more rake? Aren't you just increasing the weight bias to the front?
With the softer rear bar (to keep the inside rear tire better loaded so the torsen can do it's magic) the car might be a bit pushy (combined with the 800/650 spring rates) so a bit of positive rake will aid in balancing the car out a bit. 1/2" in positive rake will not change the static f/r weight bias much if at all, it's more about how it alters the car dynamically
The static weight distribution/rake thing makes more sense after google search. I did the same thing my M3 and STi. I think I changed the rear ride height 10 times before they felt "right". Did you think of that on your own or did you discuss it with someone that tried it? I would want to try it with the ride heights equal before playing with the rake.
It's all over the boards in the S2000 community (same thing with aligment), but it is never no rake...it's either positive or negative. I'm going off of the info I've gained in the miata community. If the car feels too loose, I can either a) drop the rear a bit or b) go stiffer on the front bar. We are also starting with a square camber setup (max out front camber and go with same in rear). Some STR folks are more in front than rear and some are less in front. Just depends on driving style. But then again, STR is new enough that development is all over the board and there is very little 'formula' to the class.
