OMFG. Koni emails me to say the DAs haven't shipped because after I requested a 4 corner dyno before they are shipped, they found that the valving was not for my application (maybe they were B stock valved DAs) so they had to be revalved and they are shipping tomorrow.

How is that it takes people 2-3 months to get simple rebuilds or revalves, and I some how can get that same amount of work to be completed in 2 days if the invoice says "James Short" :).

But I have my 800# and 650# springs (despite the small drama with that), our top hats (already drilled to 12mm for the konis), upper isolators, 3/8" conical endlink spacers to get the mcmaster endlinks to work with the Gendron front bar without binding :) and the NC rear bar. Aiming for 2 weeks prior to the TnT for install.....I'm getting tired of the 'night-before' installs ;).

I think James should try a set of Teins, but he might struggle to come to terms with having to wait 40,000 miles for them to start leaking (if the set on my Altima is any indication).

Luckily in the miata/s2000 community, Koni's are quite reliable

Hey now, they are dry as could be (squeaky clean for that matter)! All have exactly the correct amount of rebound and bump adjustment and the dynos where quite accurate from side to side.

There are so many people talking about STR or getting a car to compete in STR that I think one of the events should be...."everybody is doing it!" and have a picture of an STR classed car on the plaque!

Although I do not have a car classed in STR, I am looking forward to seeing how competitive it will be.

A pre-season photo of all the STR folks would be cool. Granted, as of right now I am only definitely able to attend one THSCC event this season. :?

Yeah, it sucks. I talked to my boss about it but there are no guarantees. I might be running with Triad a bunch this year. Which is not necessarily a bad thing. :P
