So what is STR going to look like next year? Seems like it might be a pretty large class.

Who's in, and what are you driving?

Me
2000 S2000
Whiteline 30mm front bar
"UK-spec" alignment
Enkei RPF1 17X8
Dunlop Star Specs, probably 225f/245r

Looks like Judi and I will most likely be running there. 17's with Kooks most likely.

I'll be running STR. Erin will too, once she graduates out of Novice.

'06 S2000 (Red, because that makes it go faster).
Gendron Monster FSB (1 3/8" Hollow, 4/6 Stiff).
Square 255s on 9" rims (hopefully, not yet purchased). Probably on RS3's

Noah and I will be codriving my S2000 in STR for 2012. STR is going to be absolutely AWESOME in 2012 with all these skilled drivers with S2000s!

Also, this is the #1 STR-prep resource I have found, very useful: http://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/787645- ... riorities/

Current setup:
-2002 AP1
-Megan Street Series coilovers
-Saner FSB
-K&N FIPK2
-Power Slot rotors & StopTech Street pads

New for 2012:
-TRMotorsport 17x9" with 255mm R-S3
-Chase Race trailer hitch
-Berk ceramic-coated header
-Berk HFC
-Exhaust cutoff & turndown
-VAFCII & a tune if I can find one cheap enough

And before anyone asks, I got rid of the AP2 lip when I had the front bumper replaced earlier this year, and while it doesn't look nearly as good, nobody can protest me now. ;)

Very hard to protest great driving. Looks like a great class for 2012!

If anyone sees a Saner bar for sale let me know. Trying to figure out what I'm going to go with. Damn if the Grendon bar isn't expensive. I can't believe Addco doesn't make anything for it.

I *might* be in. I've changed my mind about twelve times about my plan for next year. DS, GS, STR...????

One thing I do know is that I want to learn how to autocross an S2000. Badly. AP1 or 2, I don't care.

I officially protest all of this season.

I won't be changing anything on the car for now. Maybe a fancy air filter.

Zack? I kbow little of what it takes to run the ap2 bumper. But wasnt there somethi g that needed to be shaved to make it fit? Would not changing the bumper cover to a differe t year still be legal providing you do not modify other aspects of the car to make it fit? Rechecking the rules on areo upgrades now.

Oh i will likely be running i mean spinning my car in the same config as i finished last year.

Didn't Buckley once say they would make a bar for anything if you called them. They are somewhere in the Hickory area IIRC.

I really like the eIbach front bar on the stiff setting. It's only $160. Whitline makes a 30mm solid bar for ~$300.

Edit: looks like the whitline bar is not adj. and it's only $188.

Ok, I stopped by Discount Tire yesterday and ordered some Enkei RPF1's in silver. 17X8, and they'll fit both the S2000 and the STi. :sing: Going to take the Dunlops off the STi wheels and put them on these.

Still deciding which FSB to get. I've gotten the inside rear tire to lift several times playing around in school zones, so it needs something. Maybe I'll get the one Marcus has, since it's cheap and he's fastAR. :P
