Since the bullitt is configured w/ some nice STX related suspension parts and I'm too lazy to remove them, looks like I'm in STX next year as a strong backrunner. I know Keith Q will probably be running STX again.

Who else is considering running STX? Just curious....

Grab and Go might join you too. Think Type R in STX for 2012. Well, maybe.

I guess the AWD is considered too be too much of an advantage on street tires versus a FWD car with a torsen lsd? What is 'the' STX car to have now?

02 WRX wagon is the car to have, and I know where somebody can buy one.

Some might suggest the Honda Civic Si, since that's what took the first 4 positions at Nationals. There are probably several good candidates, depending on who's driving.

WRX up to 2008 is STX. 2009-2010 are up the creek in STU (without a prayer or a paddle). I think the MCS has a good shot, but it's a very diverse class. Should be fun to watch it unfold!

Not in 2012, God's Chariot has been quarantined to ST

I thought ST itself was a dead class and everything moved to STF/R/S/X/U or what ever, but no ST class for '12.

Nope only open diff as has been the norm. The ST classes are going to be specifically inclusive in 2012 just like all other categories, so no moving up from ST to STX if you want to add a diff.

In 2012 if you add a diff to "God's Chariot" do not pass go, move directly to CSP.

Yes but No, ST will now be STC(ivic) there was talk of combining the ST Civics with STS but that got shot down by the members

Am I the only one that misses the old days when things were simple: Stock, Street-Prepared, Prepared, Modified?
