2012 solo/pro solo schedule is out

Now they are talking about adding a few more spots so....... from the sounds of it this is tenative.

March 10th: Dixie National Tour
March 17th: Texas National Tour (no location given)
April 21: Mineral Wells Pro Solo
Aprril 28: San Diego National Tour
May 5: El Toro Pro Solo
May 19: Northeast National Tour (New Meadowlands)
May 25: Liconln Pro Solo
May 27: Lincoln National Tour
June 8: Blytheville Pro Solo
June 10: Blytheville National Tour
June 30: Packwood National Tour
July 7: Packwood Pro Solo
July 14: Colorado National Tour (Pikes Peak)
July 21: Farmington Pro Solo
July 28: Toledo Pro Solo
Aug 4: Peru National Tour
September 1: Pro Solo Finale
September 4-7: Tire Rack Solo National Championships
October 27: Tri-State Championship Tour (Blytheville, AR).

This is time for all the wannabe's to start planning. i know John and I are looking at dixie and the New Meadowlands. I am debating on the "fed ex" feild one if that actually goes through like they are talking about.

hopefully the DC one pans out. Also considering the SC & VA championships in addition to the NCAC if the dates work out next year.

We talked to the guys "in the loop" about DC Pro and went ahead and put it on our calendar for April 14-15. There were still some things not worked out, but we're hoping for a good outcome.

Guess we'll have to pick between the Lincoln double and the Blytheville double since they're only 2 weeks apart. Hummm, 21 hour drive, or 11 hour drive? Not really a tough call. Blytheville is pretty awesome and 4 days of driving, being a double makes it well worth considering. And, the Mexican restaurant next door to the hotel helps too. Just sayin...

I'm shooting for Dixie and the Meadowlands (I guess this is taking the place of the Dover one this year) and Nationals. I might try to do the DC Pro but that's a tough time of year work-wise.

You really should try to do the Maryland Pro Solo in April. (I do understand the work thing, however.) I'm telling you. You'll be spoiled you'll like it some much more than Tour. Also, doing it will help get you into the Finale at Nationals which will give you much more seat time on site. What date you can enter the Finale is determined by how many Pros you've done during the year, so the more someone does the less chance they have of the Finale being full.

I will more than likely only be doing the Maryland Prosolo in 2012. It will more than likely have a killer kart class so a great place to see if I have gotten any faster.
