That's funny because I used that technique to get her to NCCAR and it worked. Therese was pumped about 8/18 in novice, a lot better than my first time out, and rightfully she game me sh*t about it!

In fact she came out to Sanford two events later (she mentioned going before I asked her) but I did a novice no-no. I was trying to finish some r-comps and it was a bad move to have her co-drive with me on them. They really don't communicate as well of course versus streets so the car didn't feel as comfortable without the chatter from the tires.

I have a few months to come up with a game plan because it sounds like it would be a blast.

Matt, the last chick school rekindled my wifes joy of autoxing. So you def need to get her out to it, apparently there is something that they put in the water!!!

Before I went to the 2005 Chick School I had zero interest in Autocross. I just went to see what it was all about. Obviously, I haven't missed too many events since the 2005 Chick School!

Thanks for everyone that has said they will help! We will definitely need everyone's involvement and appreciate it!

Also, the current administration has said we can have the Chick School in June 2012. I'll keep you posted as we get dates nailed down.

Since you live in WLM, why not ask her to "drop by" this Sunday so we can meet. If she has her own wheels she's not trapped and can leave anytime. But, I'd like to meet her, and you can tell her that I'm one of those gals who just came out the first time because my husband wanted me to.

We all know how that turned out. :lol:

Hi All! Just a reminder the 2012 Chick School is set for Saturday June 23rd in Danville. Please be talking to the women in your life. Would like to see people start signing up.

This is great way for women to learn car control, to see what the men in their lives have been up to, etc.

The registration page has been fixed. Erin should be able to register now. Let me know if you encounter any additional problems.
